Please make sure before you buy from a breeder that you go to the OFA web page
and search their kennel name. I can't believe the number of breeders that mislead the public
and say that their parents passed health testing and they have not. If they are not listed on OFA site, they are not done.
We are one of the VERY few red breeders that OFA our Poodles for every "conclusive" health screening available such as:
Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Patella Luxation, Thyroid Disease, Legg-Calve-Perthes, Degenerative Myelopathy
Congenital Cardiac Disease, Von Willebrand's Disease, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures Disorder,
and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation ) Tested.

This girl likes to be in the thick of things. She is a follower that is also super affectionate
She is a small to average sized Female that we would expect to mature to be 40-45 lbs and 23"-24" at the shoulder.
Dark Red Female - Peach Collar: $2,545.00
This girl is just adorable. She enjoys playing with her siblings and is usually in the middle of the puppy pile.
Laid back, fearless puppy will do well at home cuddling or doing dog sports being the center of attention.
This rare very dark red female will enjoyed being shown off.
Right now she has a few white hairs under her chin which may disappear as she matures.
She is an average to larger female that should mature to be 45-55 lbs and 24"-25" at the shoulder.

This puppy is looking for a friend that enjoys adventures.
This is a very wise puppy that watches with the bigger kids are doing and then will come
in at the end and claim the spoils. This puppy will do very well in a home
where the owner wishes to do dog sports, or is active and will take her everywhere with them.

by producing the FIRST Standard Poodles with AKC and UKC Lure Coursing Titles,
(of course they also went on to obtain Best in Show, High in Trail wins and Rally Titles ALL with 1st in Class Wins)
In 2012 we made UKC and IWPA history by having the first red Standard Poodles to achieve Weight Pull titles
In 2013 we are looking at making history again in some new sports and you could be apart of this.

Health Testing we complete is a guide for Breeders to breed towards eliminating and avoiding health problems.

I Believe......
I believe there are no perfect breeders, just breeders that try to perfect their hobby.
A breeder needs a full time job, to afford this expensive hobby "if" they are breeding as a "hobby"
If a breeder does something new and unfamiliar, they will be deemed bad... until everyone else starts doing it.
A breeder's accomplishments will always be diminished by other breeders, until other breeders are achieving it.
If a breeder is not being talked about, then they are not doing enough towards improving their breed or to raise the bar.
A breeder that bashes other breeders, only does so, because they have nothing good to say about their own dogs
Yet despite all of these truths, Great Breeders, continue to strive on towards their ideal vision and goals.

We must have an Application for a Puppy before we can accept a deposit
A $200.00 non-refundable deposit will hold the puppy of your choice,
by way of Color, Sex, Pet or Breeding purposes
until your puppy is ready to come home.
We will accept "6-9 Advance" $200.00 non-refundable deposits on "expected" future litters.
This means that if you change your mind about purchasing a puppy that you wanted,
and that we have for you, you loose your deposit.
In the event that we do not have a puppy for you that you put a deposit on
(by way of sex, colour, pet or breeding quality-by our opinion)
~ We will refund your deposit ~
Bijou Poodles reserves the right to decline to sell to anyone, at any time and for any reason.
If you are interested in an upcoming available litter ~we~ will send ~you~
our Paypal web page to place your deposit to secure a puppy "if" we are accepting deposits.
(no other forms of payment will be accepted)
Your first name and last initial, location and choice of colour, sex and if for pet or show puppy will appear
on our web page under the litter you wanted. It is up to you to verify the posting is correct.
Selection will be done in the order that the deposits are received and displayed on our web page
and for pet or show quality.
Bijou Poodles reserves the right to keep one of their puppies, which would then be 1st pick of the litter.
Selection or picks of the litter would follow after our selection.
The announcement of available puppies will still be kept updated on "this" page.
When a litter is born and we have available puppies we add this information to our web page.
This is why we invite anyone interested in a Bijou puppy to check back with us from time to time.
Anyone approved and interested in purchasing any advertised available puppy will be sent our paypal page
to put a non-refundable $200.00 deposit to secure that puppy.
Puppy must be paid in full by 4 weeks of age including shipping fee if required.
If puppy is not fully paid for by 4 weeks of age we will assume you forfeit your puppy and deposit.
Our advertised puppies usually get sold within a few hours, so it is best to keep
an eye on our web page around the advertised "due dates" of our litters to avoid disappointment.

Applying for a Standard Poodle Puppy
Thank you for your interest in a puppy from Bijou Standard Poodles.
Our goal is to place our puppies in permanent homes
where they will receive the love, care and attention they require
in order to live a long, happy, healthy life. We care deeply about each puppy
that we bring into the world. We thank you for your cooperation
in providing us with as much information about your family
as possible in order to find the best puppy for you.

We are "world" famous for our calm temperaments (under our K-Lar & Bijou Prefix).
Our pups are from Therapy Dogs who love to cuddle on the couch watching a movie with us
but are athletic and healthy enough to run 10km every day with us.
We would love to talk on the phone about our dogs to everyone
who emails us, but that would mean we would be
on the phone for over 8 hours a day at least.
In order for us to properly take care of our dogs
and have some private time,
we will be available by email for inquiries about the pups.
This also allows you "written" answers to your questions.
