Brightly loves prancing around and having her hair done.
We often think her and Poppy are related as both have that Princess attitude.
Actually Brightly, not so much Princess, as Human.
It is cute as Brightly and Poppy are best friends, often seeking each other out
in the yard, for a game of tag
Brightly loves to work for praise or especially clapping.
She does not enjoy rough housing with the other kids, preferring to be beside
me snuggling or perched on the couch her prized spot.
I'm really hoping Brightly will enjoy doing Rally and we can get her Temperament
and some Dog Sport titles in 2020 on her. Right now she is enjoying being home
and just part of the family and not a glamorous show girl.
Brightly is out of our illustrious Glory (a tom boy).
Glory has achieved many firsts for Bijou Standard Poodles including being our
first "Standard Poodle" CKC Champion
We gave Brightly a registered name as a nod, towards my career as a Full Time Professional Firefighter
and of course to comment on her dark red colouring which will not fade.
Brightly finished her CKC Championship with Best of breed win and a Group 3rd win
Brightly's handler felt Brightly was quality enough, to continue to a Grand Championship
so we decided to keep showing (at HUGE expense)
hoping to Grand only the 2nd, Red Grand Champion in CKC History !!!
the first being our own "Poppy"
But Brightly after achieving 6 points towards that elusive rare Grand Champion title
just wanted to come home and be loved.
So Brightly gets to enjoy life at home and hopefully produce our 4th generation of Bijou Reds.
Brightly has produced: UKC Champion, "Bijou's Mango Mai Tai" CKC Champion, "Bijou's A Pot Of Marigold"
