What to bring to dog show Minimum :

 

§  Dog cage with plenty of ventilation (canvas ones can be a sauna )

§  Grooming table with arm and noose

§  Tack box with all your supplies such as show collar and leash

§  Carts are always a wise investment as you can use it all year round even to hotel rooms

§  GPS and Map with directions to hotel and show site

§  Phone

§  Cash and checks

§  Chair

§  EZ up or similar style canopy for shade

§  Camera

§  Business cards so you can easily exchange contact information and a pen

§  Dog bait

§  Water bucket

§  Poop scooping bags

§  Flexi lead or longer leash for toileting

 

What to bring to an outside Dog show Maximum:

§  2 dog cages one for car and one for the show area that you leave at the show, make sure you have your name and email address permanently on them.

§  Video camera, camera, tripod setting up video camera at far corner ready to go

§  2 canopies – one for dog pen and one for your area as well as mesh shade screen

§  2 tarps incase it rains

§  Rain gear and boots

§  Grass mat as helps define your area and if dirty or muddy will help keep your dog clean

§  2 Xpens - put together under a lowered canopy (keeps dogs from jumping and knocking over pen)

§  Cooler with food and cold drinks

§  Lap top

§  Garbage bags

§  Fans

§  Electrical extension cords

§  Hair dryer if you have a coated breed

§  Bath mat(s) for the cage as won’t slip and will absorb dirt and moisture away from dog

§  Couple towels one is always good to cover the grooming table with
