Radar2010... Radareat
Radar (Hershey and Raven green collar) at 6 and a half months is 26 inches to the shoulder and 53 pounds.
He is all leg! and fur (in need of another clip)
He continues to be a wonderful soul - always up for fun, and extremely laid back
(see the pictures below with him lying down to eat - do all your dogs do this?)
He's the best dog ever - thanks so much,

Hope all is well with you guys.
I just wanted to let you know that Kaidin (green collar girl - Joy's sister) has been spayed and I have the certificate
and would like to send you a copy to you so that I can get her papers.
I'll send those long ago promised pictures as well so you can see her.
She's wonderful and the love of my life, along with Kobi (Bijou puppy too) of course,
but we definitely have a special connection and she lets me know every day with all her hugs and kisses.
She has turned out to be such a wonderful dog, and big like her mother, just as you promised.
she weighs 71 pounds on the 11th of Feb just over 8 months.
Take care,
Diane P. - Toronto ON

Flair x Razz- Pink Collar Puppy - Poppy
John and I can't thank you enough for Pink Poppy!
What a little sweetheart and so cuddly.
She slept all the way home, found her kibble/water bowls, played in the snow and snoozed with her blue blankie.
She's eaten lunch and dinner and kept well hydrated. About every 2 hours she's sat on the mat in the front hall to go out.
We love her already and really appreciate how beautifully you socialize your pups. Flair is the best mum.
If you could send the photo you took of us today, we'd love that. It turns out that the battery on our camera is wonky in spite of being recently charged.
Thanks too for your weekly photos/videos, web site info and the wonderful puppy bag today. I can't believe the folder with the red pup on front!
And what a small world that both of us see the same Vet.
I'll pop round Tue or Wed of this week for a quick check up but her spay stitch area doesn't seem to be giving her any problems.
If you are ever in London, please drop in (I work from home and am usually here).
Thanks,
UPDATE:
Hi Bijou Poodles,
Just to let you know, Poppy climbed into her little bed beside our bed at 10.30 pm, grr'd gently twice during the night to go pee,
did her business quickly and then went right back to sleep until 6.30 am.
Today's she's eaten well, had a good poo and had lots of water to drink.
We're in the midst of a snow storm this aft and she's loved going out and sticking her nose into the snowbanks;
when she comes in, she automatically sits on the mat in the front hall until I've dried off her paws.
And she shakes a paw every chance she gets! She's calm and cuddly and seems quite happy; right now she's fast asleep under my desk.

I had to crate her today for 45 minutes while I had a conference call but she hopped in, played with a toy and, other than one initial howl, settled right in.
One of the other women on the call was working from home and her 18 month old pup barked the whole time so I was very proud!

I don't know how you do what you do in 7 weeks but you appear to be a magician!
This is one darling little pup, not that we're biased or anything!

..
Flair - Dark Blue Collar - Red Male
We have named him "Regan" .........in ancestral Irish it means "Red King". He is very regal!
He is even more beautiful than we imagined. He is a total "velcro" puppy and a lover.
He followed me around all afternoon and fell asleep on my foot as I was watching the Canadians win a gold in the downhill cross.
Congratulations.
He screamed bloody murder when I put him in the Ex-Pen.
Do I just tough it out until he is finally exhausted and goes to sleep or do I give him a squirt with the water bottle?
He has not eaten his dinner tonight but maybe that is just the trip.
Tell me what to do about the Ex-Pen please...........and the food. I took it up after 45 minutes.

Just wanted to let you know that our puppy ~Rufus D. ~ Ruby Red Collar Male, arrived safely
and he is settled in nicely, lying beside me on the floor in the kitchen while I write this.
He has had his first meal here, happy to eat and finish it, and has successfully peed in the back yard.
He's not sure about the leash yet.
He has another hour or so to rest before he meets his new brother and sister who are still at school
but very excited to meet him. He has already met and bonded with his new dad who picked him up at the airport.
I think he is very smart. I started teaching him not to go in the garden in the back yard
(a la Dog Whisperer - by saying "tsst") and he was getting it.
Thank you!!

......
Ivy - apricot female Ruby -
here are a few pictues (of the hundreds I've taken!) of Ivy over the last few weeks.
Last week at the vets she weighed in at 18.8 lbs!
And she was just over 8 lbs when we picked her up!
More than doubled in 3 weeks! She is growing very quickly and is an absolute Joy!
She loves the snow and we are enjoying many hikes and walks.
First trip to the Dog Spa yesterday and has had a few baths at home- she's looking good!
I'll send more and am trying to figure out how to send video too. . .
Hope all is well at your house. . .

Scarlett (Razz & Flair's - Fuchsia collar girl) and Samson (Java x Hershey Silver Collar Male)
Thought I would send you a few pictures of Scarlett (Razz & Flair's - Fuchsia collar girl) and an update on Samson.
Scarlett is so sweet, she is gentle and loves to cuddle.
She is fitting in with the family very well and she loves to play and wrestle with Samson.
She holds her own with him, but at times we have to curb Samson's enthusiasm for her as he is so much bigger (30lbs at 12 weeks).
He is learning the limits though and is so quick to learn. She is doing well with house training.
No surprise though after our experience training Samson.
I have already had someone stop me to ask what kind of dog Scarlett is.
I read different accounts from other owners on your website (about people stopping them to see their red puppy)
so was not completely shocked but it was the second day we had her so I was not prepared for all the attention.
I can see that all those accounts were true and she will be the star of the neighborhood.
They are both so beautiful, we just love them.
I have attached a few pictures of Scarlett and a couple with Samson so you can see the size difference.
Hope all is well with you. We will keep you updated.
Thanks for all you do. We love them both!

...
Hey, ANNIE (red female - Mint Collar, Ruby x Oliver) is doing great.
And now that she has a poodle style cut, she acts like she is a princess and is becomming a bit of a show-off.
And people do gather and gravitate to her ---whole families at a time.
My best friend, Lana, just lost her little rescue female dog of 15 years a few weeks ago.
And as with everyone else; she just loves ANNIE. She is interested in an adult male red standard poodle.

It is rather interesting, that all of my friends and family that just are in love with and vocal in support of the concept of rescuing pound dogs,
become rather silent after they meet ANNIE.
I think a puppy would be more than acceptable but right now she wants an older dog.
Lana is also a registered nurse and just works the 2 day weekend option and has plenty of time to devote to a new best friend.
And if there are no older males available; I think that I want a male puppy for myself, that would one day be suitable to breed with ANNIE.
Preferrably a dark red male for contrast.
Please advise me of my options.
Thanks,
Larry O. - Avon IL

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY LETTER AND PHOTOS ?

Because I had let this page get so big with hundreds of references and photos in over 20 years
I have lost most old references I have had as they were deleted.
Please do not take offence if your reference and photos are not located
on my pages any longer as it is a computer (computer owner) malfunction.
I have split my reference page up with what I was able to rescue, on the following pages.
if you have any photos or comments to contribute, please feel free to send them for reposting.
Thank you for your understanding.
